The Selective Schools Entrance exam is an exam that determines whether the student receives the placement starting in year 9 at one of the 4 selective schools. These four schools include:

  • The Mac Robertson Girls High School (Girls school)
  • Melbourne High School (Boy’s School)
  • Nossal High School (Co-education)
  • Suzanne Cory High School(Co-education)

The bonus of getting a placement in one of these schools is that when completing VCE subjects, the student has a higher Chance of getting Scores due to the advanced curriculum in the previous years
